Crimes against women on the rise in city

Hyderabad, Dec 28 : Crimes against women are on the rise in limits of Hyderabad City Police.

Addressing the annual press meet at Police Officers' Mess here on Saturday, City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma informed as many 2,124 cases of crime against women were reported this year as against 1,823 cases in 2012. Of 2,124 cases, 1477 cases are of harassment, 89 rapes, 35 abetment to suicide, 32 dowry deaths, six dowry murders and 485 other cases. Read More
