Hyderabad, October 10 : Government Whip in the State Legislative Council Shiva Reddy on Wednesday alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was afraid of facing a probe into the IMG land allotments.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party here, Shiva Reddy alleged that Naidu has resorted to several irregularities in land allotments done to the IMG during his tenure as the Chief Minister. However, he said that Naidu and other TDP leaders were afraid of facing a probe into the issue. He said if Naidu was really honest, then he should not hesitate in agreeing for a CBI probe into the IMG allotments.
Referring to Naidu's speeches during the "Vastunna Mee Kosam" padyatra, Shiva Reddy said that the Naidu has been carrying out false propaganda against the Congress government. Demanding that Naidu tender an apology to the people for making baseless statements, he said that people would never believe his allegations.
