Hyderabad, Sept 6: TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy on Thursday said that the farmers across the State were facing problems due to shortage of fertilizers and seeds.
The TDP leaders also alleged that the State Government used police force against the farmers of Nagar Kurnool and Karimnagar who held protest demanding seeds and fertilizers.
Expressing satisfaction over the relief and jobs given to the displaced persons of Nandikotkur-Srisailam project under GO 98, the former MP demanded that the similar relief be given to the displaced persons of Srisailam project in Mahabubnagar district.
He condemned the statement of Legislative Council Whip Y Shivarama Reddy wherein he stated that the opposition parties would disrupt the proceedings and create chaos if Assembly session is convened. He said that the TDP was demanding Assembly session to discuss solutions for the problems being faced by the people.
