TDP slams ministers for attending KVP's book launch event

Hyderabad, Sept 8: Telugu Desam Party senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Saturday said that it was a shame for the State Ministers to attend the function of launch of Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramchandra Rao's book on "YSR's Padayatra" at  New Delhi.

Talking to media persons at the NTR Trust Bhavan, Chandramohan Reddy alleged that corruption of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had sent several senior officials to jail and he had doled out over one lakh acres of mining land to his son-in-law in Khammam district. In the massive corruption of YSR, he said that the Congress leaders and Ministers have not been 'scapegoats' but had become 'holy goats' after digesting huge amount of black money.

The TDP leader alleged that KVP was fully aware of the bribe transactions that took place between YSR and union ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad, Veerappa Moily and Vayalar Ravi.

Contending that the merger of YSRCP and Congress was a certainty in near future, he questioned as to why YS Vijayalakshmi had remained silent now on the suspicions over YSR's death, after making it an issue in the recent by-elections.
