MRPS to launch movement for Muslim Reservation

Hyderabad, Sept 8: The Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi will launch a massive movement demanding reservation for the Muslim community in the State.

Talking to media persons while returning from New Delhi through AP Express halt at Kagaznagar Railway Station on Saturday, MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga said that his organisation would launch the movement for Muslim reservation from Adilabad district. He said massive agitation would be launched at Kagazhnagar on September 17 and it would be extended to all parts of the State by October 7.

On October 9, a public meeting will be held in Hyderabad demanding appropriate reservation for the Muslim community in jobs and employment. Krishna Madiga said that a majority of Muslims were economically and socially backward and need reservation for upliftment.
