Hyderabad, September 20 INN: As many as 673 medical posts including 211 posts of doctors are lying vacant in the Ayush Department in the State.
This was disclosed by Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan while replying to a query raised by MLA G Mallesh and others during Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday. He said of 211 vacant posts of doctors, 51 are reserved for Scehduled Castes, 28 for Scheduled Tribes and 50 for Backward Classes. Similarly, of 462 other vacancies, 32 are reserved for SCs, 15 for STs and 55 for BCs. He assured the House the backlog posts would be filled shortly.
