Hyderabad, September 16 INN: Minister for Agriculture Kanna Lakshmi Narayana on Sunday accused a section of media for launching malicious campaign against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in the State.
Talking to media persons here, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana took serious note on media for repeatedly raising the change in Chief Minister’s issue despite AICC In-charge of State Ghulam Nabi Azad and emissary Vayalar Ravi denying those reports and termed them as speculative and baseless. He alleged that a section of media has hatched a conspiracy to change the chief minister.
Lakshmi Narayana asked the media to act responsibly instead of carrying out with speculative and baseless reports.
The minister also blamed the Telugu Desam Party for the pathetic condition of farmers in Krishna delta. He said that the GOs issued during the TDP's tenure were responsible for the problem being faced by farmers in the Krishna delta. He accused TDP president N Chandrababau Naidu of shedding crocodile tears on farmers cause now.
