Mahbubnagar, September 16 INN: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday announced Rs 15 crores for providing infrastructure facilities in the Palamuru University.
Interacting with students during his last day of Indiramma Baata in Mahbubnagar district, the Chief Minister reiterated that that the government was giving top priority for providing higher education to SCs, STs, BCs and minorities in the State.
Stating that the decision on Telangana statehood issue was pending with the Centre, he expressed confidence that the government would resolve the issue soon. Earlier, Kiran Kumar Reddy interacted with the students from Muslim community at Shalimar Function Hall and enquired about their problems. Minister D K Aruna and local MLA and MLCs were present in the programme.
