Kesava Rao on Monday said that the Congress party leaders from the region would
extend full support to the Telangana March scheduled to be held on September
30.

Rao asked the government not to obstruct the Telangana March by imposing
various restrictions. He stated that the Telangana leaders also appealed to
Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy not to resort to illegal arrests to dilute
the March.
Hailing
the Ministers and MLAs writing a letter to Congress High Command over the
issue, he said that it would be better if they directly participate in the
agitation. He also came down heavily on the Seemandhra leaders for their alleged
provocative comments at a time when the Centre was taking a crucial decision on
the Telangana statehood issue. He alleged that the Seemandhra leaders were
intentionally making provoking remarks to scuttle the chances of Telangana
state formation by disturbing law and order situation.
Kesava
Rao appealed to the Seemandhra leaders to cooperate with the Telangana leaders
in the formation of separate State. He described the Samaikhya Andhra agitation
as 'sponsored" to protect their selfish interests. He said that the
Congress party has to suffer a huge damage in the region if it fails to honour
its promise given to the people.
Nagarkurnool
MP Manda Jagannatham suspected the commitment of Seemandhra leaders in
launching the agitation of keeping the State united. He alleged that Seemandhra
leaders have launched the agitation to counter the Telangana March and to
disturb the law and order.
Nizamabad
MP Madhu Yashki Goud, Peddapalli MP G Vivek and Warangal MP S Rajaiah also
participated in the meeting.
