Hyderabad, July 6 : The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has officially inaugurated its NRI WING by Telangana JAC Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram, TNGO President Mr. Devi Prasad, TRS MLA Gongidi Sunitha and TITA Honorary President V Prakash on Saturday at The Pennsylvania Convention Centre, Philadelphia, PA, USA.
The program started with paying tribute to all those who sacrificed their life’s for the cause of Telangana followed by Telangana state anthem ‘Jaya Jaya he Telangana’. Warm welcome note by TITA North American Chapter President Mr. Vishnu Inugala explained the purpose of TITA and its objectives to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Kodandaram recalled the TITA contributions to the Telangana movement. He said that the participation of intellectual group like TITA has provided a huge boost for the Telangana Movement. TNGO President Devi Prasad requested TITA - NRI Wing to take active participation in rebuilding of Telangana by conducting knowledge sharing sessions with IT and Business Aspirants. He appealed them to share the inputs or suggestions to the Government of Telangana in policy making for employment creation. TRS MLA Gongidi Sunitha requested every Telangana NRI to come forward in helping in development of Telangana region by whatever means they can.
“We started TITA - NRI WING to play a vital role in rebuilding of Telangana by building a communication bridge between Telangana NRI’s intellectual tank team and the people of Telangana for knowledge transfer in various sectors by arranging weekly video sessions with respective beneficiaries. TITA NRI Wing will guide Telangana Students for Higher Education in Abroad, especially in choosing the best colleges, best suitable skills and job market awareness. TITA NRI Wing will promote the culture and festivals of Telangana in NRI Community,” said TITA Honorary President V. Prakash.
