Hyderabad, July 6 : AP State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof S A Shukoor expressed his determination to provide better facilities to the Haj pilgrims and said that the Haj Committee has been making all endeavors in this direction.
Prof Shukoor said that this year the Central Haj committee will provide food to the pilgrims in Madeenah Munnawarah, so that they can spend their time in prayers and supplications. He introduced six Khadim- ul-Hujjaj present on this occasion and said that the pilgrims can contact them during Haj in case of emergencies, their phone numbers will be provided to the pilgrims at the time of departure. He said that the Haj Committee will provide free Sim Cards with all necessary numbers of important of important officials and institutions. He said that the pilgrims will be provided ten liters of Zam Zam water cans to the pilgrims on their arrival back at the Hyderabad airport.
He said that so far 293 Haj Applicants from the Waiting List were provisionally selected for Haj 2014.
Executive Officer and former Member Shaik Shareef was also present on this occasion. The programme commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Irfan Shareef read out the Na;at. Moulana Mufti Javeed explained the Haj and Umra rituals, while Dr. Fazaluddin explained details about visiting Madeenah Munnawara. Special arrangements were made for lady pilgrims. INN
