Hyderabad, October 4 : The Board of Intermediate Education on Thursday extended the last date for submission of applications for scholarships by the students who passed intermediate in March this year up to October 12.
According to the BIE, the candidates who passed Intermediate in March 2012 and who were provisionally selected by the BIE for Scholarships under “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University students” and admitted in Degree or Professional Degree Courses during the year 2012-13 could submit their applications till October 12. The list of provisionally selected candidates and other particulars are available in the BIE websites and are already communicated to the respective Junior Colleges.
The eligible students under this Scheme have to approach the Principals of the respective Junior Colleges and obtain the application form and copy of the proceedings, which can also be downloaded from the BIE website www.bieap.gov.in The applications should be forwarded to the Secretary, BIE, A.P. Nampally, Hyderabad, through the Principals of Degree or Professional Degree Colleges where the students are now studying.
