Hyderabad, October 11 : After her three-day visit to New Delhi, Information and Public Relations Minister DK Aruna on Thursday returned to the State Capital.
Talking to reporters, Aruna described her visit as fruitful. She said that she along with other leaders from Mahabubnagar district met Union Ministers and other Central leaders to represent them about the problems related to her district. She claimed that she got specific assurances from the union ministers over some development projects in Mahabubnagar district.
Regarding Telangana issue, she hoped that the Centre would soon announce a favourable decision with regard to grant of statehood for the region. She also dismissed the allegations leveled by some leaders over her visit to New Delhi.
