Hyderabad, September 16 INN: The Telugu Desam Party has listed out 20 major issues that it plans to raise during the monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly.
The Telugu Desam Legislature Party on Sunday finalised the agenda and strategy to be adopted during the five-day session. The issues discussed during the TDLP meeting include adverse seasonal conditions, Fee Reimbursement, power crisis, removal of tainted ministers, weavers suicide, supply of irrigation water and interstate problems and SC/ST Sub-Plan. The TDP will also raise the issues of hike in diesel prices and limitation of supply of LPG cylinders.
The policy of land allotment, facilities in social welfare hostels, FDI permission into retail business and the impact of High Court verdict on local bodies elections are among the other issues that TDP plans to raise during the session. Talking to reporters, TDP Deputy Floor leader Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu alleged that the government was not serious about discussing the public issues. He said the State was gripped with several major crisis and the government should have conducted a month-long session to discuss them and find solution. However, he said the government has agreed for five-day session to complete the formality.
