Purshottam Reddy joins YSRCP

Hyderabad, Sept 9: Senior Congress leader Uppunuthala Purushotham Reddy on Sunday predicted that the ruling Congress party would wipe out from the state in the 2014 general elections. 

Talking to media persons after joining the YSR Congress party at a meeting in Rayagiri in Nalgonda district, Purushotham Reddy said that the people of the State would teach a fitting lesson to the Congress party in the ensuing elections for diluting the schemes started by former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Accusing the State Government of having failed on all fronts, he said that the governance in the State came to a standstill as Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy lacks experience and never served as a minister earlier.

Stating that no one could replace YSR from the hearts of people, he expressed confidence that YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy would become the Chief Minister after the next elections. He said that he would make sincere efforts to strengthen the YSRCP at grassroots level in his constituency and win with a huge majority in the ensuing elections.
