PM, others greet CM on his birthday


Hyderabad, September 13 INN: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Thursday greeted Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy  on the occasion of his 52nd birthday. The Prime Minister spoke to the Chief Minister over telephone from Kochi and extended his felicitations and wished him many more success in future.


The Chief Minister's Camp Office wore a festive look on Friday as hundreds of party workers along with Minister Danam Nagender visited the camp office to greet the Chief Minister. Earlier Veda Pundits from various places visited the Camp Office and blessed the Chief Minister. Several Union Ministers also spoke to the Chief Minister and conveyed their birthday greetings. Several Ministers of the state cabinet, Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly and Council, Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew, DGP Dinesh Reddy, senior  IAS and IPS officers, higher officials, public representatives, city corporators  personally met and greeted the Chief Minister.

Hundreds of youth, students, party workers and women reached the camp office and greeted him. The Chief Minister personally met all the people in the lawns. He personally went to the general visitors gallery and received all the representations from the public.

Meanwhile, hundreds of students who have appeared for the Public Service Commission exam met the Chief Minister and complained that the APPSC authorities were not issuing appointment orders as interviews were not conducted.  This is in contrary to the Chief Minister's assurance that interviews will not be held for those posts which do not have any interface with the public. They submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister who assured to look into the matter and do justice to them.
