Narsaraopeta, August 18: Former minister and Telugu Desam senior leader Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Saturday demanded that the State Government immediately sack the ministers who have been named in different scams and facing charges of corruption in various cases.
Talking to media persons, Kodela Siva Prasad slammed the State Government’s move to extend legal aid to corrupt ministers. He said that the government's decision would send wrong message among the people.
He asked as to why the government did not offer legal assistance to YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy and former minister Mopodevi Venkata Ramana Rao, who are allegedly involved in scams worth thousands of crores.
Accusing Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of acting as covert of Jagan Mohan Reddy, he warned that the TDP would intensify its agitation against the tainted ministers until they are dismissed from the Cabinet. He described YSR Congress and Congress party as same sides of a coin.
