Tirupati, August 18: Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday alleged that the coterie surrounding Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh have been misguiding him and bringing disrepute to the country.
Talking to media persons as part of his visit to Chittoor district, Naidu said that the nation’s image has been affected due to number of scams and irregularities. He accused the UPA-II government of handing over national wealth such as coal blocks to vested elements and failure to protect the interest of the country.
Expressing serious concern over the death of infants at SVR Ruia Government General Hospital, Naidu demanded that the government should be held responsible for the deaths. He said that the state government has totally failed to address the problems of common man and Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was busy in participating Indiramma Baata without addressing the real issues.
