BJP expresses concern over improper implementation of schemes

Hyderabad, August 15 INN: Bharatiya Janata Party state president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the benefits of welfare schemes and programmes were not reaching the actual beneficiaries despite the fact that the country has achieved Independence 66 years ago.

Talking to media persons after unfurling the Tri-colour at the BJP State Headquarters at Nampally, he said that the targetted beneficiaries rarely benefitted from the Five Year plans which are in implementation since independence. The benefits of schemes failed to reach the SCs, STs and BCs due to rampant corruption in the existing system and lack of awareness among the people.

Kishan Reddy criticised both the Centre and State Government for not responding on the hunger deaths of poor farmers.

He said the State Government’s image was being drubbed day by day with the CBI filing charge sheets against ministers and IAS officials in different cases. He demanded that the government immediately sack all the ministers involved in corruption charges. He called upon the party rank and file to continue their fight against corruption at all levels.

The BJP leader also expressed serious concern over refugees from Burma stating that they might pose a serious threat to internal security and national integration. He appealed to the government and other parties to respond on the migrants issue immediately. He also slammed the City Police for remaining a mute spectator when organisations such as COVA hoisted Pakistan flag at Exhibition Grounds at Nampally.

BJP National Secretary Dr K Lakshman, senior leaders Bandaru Dattatreyya, C H Vidyasagar Rao, N Indrasena reddy and other office-bearers were also present.
