Hyderabad, Aug 13: The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Monday filed charge sheet in the cash-for-bail case of mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy.
The 40-pages charge sheet was filed before the ACB Court at Purani Haveli. The ACB has named eight people as accused in the case. They are Janardhan Reddy's brother Gali Somasekhara Reddy, relative Dasharathama Reddy, Kampli MLA Suresh Babu, suspended judge Pattabhi Rama Rao, his son Ravi Chandra, retired judge Chalapathi Rao, junior advocate Adithya and rowdy sheeter Yadagari.
All the accused named in the charge sheet have already been arrested by the ACB. They have been charged with bribing the judge to secure bail for Gali Janardhan Reddy who has been arrested in the illegal mining case of Obulapuram Mining Corporation.
