Hyderabad, July 6 : The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly is likely to be held in the last week of August this year.
According to sources, the 40-day session will be begin in the last week of August and will last till second week of September. Finance Minister Etela Rajender will present the first budget of Telangana State.
It was on May 18, when Governor ESL Narasimhan has approved the authorisation of expenditure fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states for a period of four months from June 2. A budget of Rs 26, 516 crore was approved for Telangana State. It included Rs 21,295 crore as the Revenue budget and Rs 3,046 crore as the Capital budget.
Similarly, Rs 34,595 crore was approved for Andhra Pradesh which included Rs. 28,626 crore as the Revenue budget while Rs 3,882 crore was the Capital budget. INN
