Hyderabad, July 5 : Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreyya on Saturday demanded that the Telangana Government take immediate steps to bring back the lost glory of Osmania University, which will be completing 100 years of formation soon.
Speaking to media persons here, Dattatreyya said that the OU Management has failed to maintain its original status and did not approach the authorities even for NAC accreditation. He said Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani has assured of full cooperation in case the OU authorities or State Government need any assistance for the OU. He asked the TRS Government to prepare a detailed plan to celebrate the 100 years of OU formation and take immediate steps to restore its original glory. INN
