Hyderabad, Feb 28 : TDP senior leader R Chandrasekhar Reddy on Friday demanded high-level enquiry into the incident of fire in submarine INS Sindhuratna which claimed lives of two Navy personnel.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Chandrasekhar Reddy condoled the death of Navy personnel and said demanded that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh order an enquiry into the incident through a sitting judge of the Supreme Court. He alleged that the fire accident in sub-marine could have occurred due to the sub-standard equipments.
Alleging corruption in defense deals, he demanded that an enquiry should also be ordered into all the purchases made during UPA-I & II regime. (INN)
