Hyderabad, August 12 : Congress MPs R Anand Bhaskar and Palwai Govardhan Reddy strongly defended the decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana.
Participating in the debate in Rajya Sabha on Monday, Bhaskar said that the division of Andhra Pradesh meant self-respect for the people of Telangana. He said that the Telangana people were not asking for any share in the gas, natural resources, coastline, jobs in Visakha Steel or any other resources in Seemandhra regions.
