New Delhi, August 12 : TDP MP Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary on Monday demanded that the Centre form a legal committee involving legislators, all stateholders and others to study the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Participating in the debate on Telangana issue in Rajya Sabha, Chowdhary said that the decision to bifurate the State was announced in autocratic manner which ignited fire in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the Congress-led UPA Government communicated the decision in a hasty manner. A similar decision was taken on December 9, 2009, and after similar protests, the decision was reversed on December 23.Read More
