Hyderabad, May 28 : Additional DGP (CID) T Krishna Prasad on Tuesday cautioned the public not to join the Amway as its business was illegal.
“The Amway India Enterprises Private Limited has been promoting Amway Products, through Money circulation by conducting membership drive, cheating the public by luring and enticing them with incentives and commissions. The activities of M/s. Amway India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., are covered under Money Circulation and are in clear violation of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978. The Govt. of AP has issued a G.O.Ms.No.178 of HOME (General-B) Department, Government of A.P., Dt. 5-9-2008, restraining publishing of any material / advertisements of the Amway India,” Krishna Prasad said in a statement.Read More
