Tirupati, September 16 INN: Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam’s Administrative Board Executive Officer L V Subrahmanyam on Sunday stated that the Devasthanam has made all arrangements to meet the rush of pilgrims for the Barhmotsavam beginning from September 18.
Talking to media persons here, the Executive Officer said that the TTD has taken a decision to cancel the all Aarjitha Sevas to provide hassle free darshan to devotees during the nine days Brahmotsavam. Apart from Aarjitha Sevas, the Board has also cancelled Rs 50 Divya Darshan tickets from September 18 to 22, Break Darshan on September 17 evening and September 18, he said. There would be no Break Darshan from September 21 to September 26.
Subrahmanyam said that Rs 300 Special Darshan tickets would be allowed based on the rush of pilgrims. He said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would present silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara on behalf of the State Government on September 18 to mark the Brahmotsavam.
During Brahmotsavam, he said that the Lord Venkateshwara would be decorated with 30 tonnes of 12 kinds of flowers.
