Hyderabad, September 17 INN: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday assured a delegation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi that he would look into lifting power cuts for small and medium enterprises after taking discussing the issue with the officials concerned.
Talking to reporters at Assembly media point after submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister at his chambers in this regard, TRS Deputy Floor Leader T Harish Rao said that the delegation had highlighted the problems being faced by the small and medium enterprises due to power shortage with Kiran Kumar Reddy and appealed him to lift power cuts immediately. Responding positively, the Chief Minister assured to look into the issue after discussing the same with the officials concerned.
Harish Rao warned that the TRS would stage agitation in front of Chief Minister’s office if he fails to honour his promise and resort to picket Vidyut Soudha. He also said that the government has been cheating the people of region by not officially celebrating the Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17. Though the Congress leaders hoisting national flag at Gandhi Bhavan on that day, he said the government was not celebrating the Liberation Day officially.
