Seemandhra MPs dismisses reports on T-decision

New Delhi, Sept 24: Eluru MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao on Monday dismissed the rumours that the Centre would take a decision on the Telangana state issue by the end of this month.

Talking to media persons after emerging from the meeting with MPs at his residence, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao said that the media has exaggerated the issue as Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao was staying in the New Delhi and having consultations over the statehood issue. He said that Seemandhra Forum convenor S Sailajanath has come to New Delhi as KCR was staying in the national capital.

Contrary to rumours in media, he said that there was no such activity on the statehood issue and hoped that the Centre was likely to delay the announcement on it.

In the meeting, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, A Venkat Rami Reddy, J D Seelam and others were present.
