Hyderabad, September 25 INN: The CBI Special Court at Nampally on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of YSR Congress Party president and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy till October 9 in the disproportionate assets case.
The court extended his remand when the officials produced him in the court following expiry of his custody. Following court directions, the police have shifted Jagan Mohan Reddy to Chanchalguda Jail under tight security. The judge has allowed Jagan to meet his family members in the adjoining room.
Meanwhile, the special court also extended the remand of former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana rao, Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, his brother Nimmagadda Prakash, bureaucrat K V Brahmananda Reddy, IAS officers Manmohan Singh and Samuel and Jagan’s financial advisor Vijay Sai Reddy till October 9.
