Emaar Case: Vijay Raghav's bail plea hearing adjourned

Hyderabad, September 7: The CBI special Court on Friday adjourned the hearing on bail petition of G V Vijay Raghav, an accused in the Emaar land scam, to September 12. 

The special court announced this decision after the completion of arguments and counter arguments from both the sides. Objecting the bail petition, the CBI counsel apprehended that Vijay Raghav might influence the witnesses if he was granted bail. He further said that the sanction of bail to Vijay Raghav at this juncture would affect the investigations in the case. 

In the bail petition, Vijay Raghav’s counsel claimed that he was innocent and had nothing to do with the case. He said that his client would extend full cooperation to the CBI and disclose whatever information he had with him. He said he was ready to abide by any condition imposed by the court to grant the bail.
