Hyderabad, September 16 INN: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the five-day monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly beginning from Monday.
Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises here on Sunday, City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma informed that necessary security arrangements have been made for the session. In addition to the regular force, one Superintendant of Police, three DSPs, 24 inspectors, 90 SIs and 670 constables would be deployed for the security. Further, prohibitory orders have been imposed banning the rallies and meetings in a radius of two kilometres of the Assembly building.
The Commissioner said that elaborate security arrangements would also be made outside the assembly building in view of some parties likely to hold demonstrations or celebrations to mark Hyderabad Liberation Day on Monday at Gun Park.
Additional Commissioner (Traffic) CV Anand and DCP (Central Zone) Tarun Joshi were also present.
