Draft GO for 'B' category seats in Engg colleges gets CM's nod

Hyderabad, Sept 3: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday approved the draft GO giving guidelines for online application for admissions to "B" category seats in Private un-aided Engineering Colleges in the State.

It may be recalled that on the Group of Ministers' recommendations, the Chief Minister has directed that the guidelines shall be issued in line with orders of the Supreme Court.  The GO will be issued shortly and it will bring transparency in admissions and ensure that seats are filled up on the basis of merit. By this, about 40,000 merit students will be benefitted.
