Congress describes Naidu as Dementia patient

Hyderabad, Sept 5: Government Whip in the Legislative Council Rudraraju Padmaraju on Wednesday ridiculed Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu's claim that Fee Reimbursement was his scheme.
Stating Naidu was suffering from Dementia, a disease that causes loss of brain function affecting memory, thinking, language, judgment or behavior, Padmaraju said that Fee Reimbursement scheme was introduced by the Congress party. He said that during Naidu's regime, only eight lakh students were given Fee Reimbursement with the Central Government funds. Whereas, he said that about 25 lakh students have benefitted from the Fee Reimbursement scheme on which the State Government has spent over Rs 4,000 crore.
Padmaraju said that the Naidu has been trying all means to draw public attention to come to power in 2014 elections. For the same reason, he said that Naidu has been staking claims on welfare schemes originally started by the Congress party. He said that people have lost faith on Naidu's promises and that's why he was not believed when the TDP promised free cash transfer scheme in 2009 elections.
Meanwhile, Council Whip Y Shivaram Reddy alleged that the TDP workers too have got confused with Naidu's statements. Stating that their political future was dark if they continue with the TDP, he appealed the workers to join the Congress party.
