CM condoles death of Dr Kurien, Rohini Prasad

Hyderabad, Sept 9: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday expressed grief over the death of Dr V Kurien, the Father of White Revolution in the country. 

In a statement issued to media, the Chief Minister said that Dr Kurien has made enormous contributions in the fields of agriculture, rural development and dairying. Dr Kurien started operation flood, the largest dairy development programme in the world besides making Amul brand a household name.

In another statement, the Chief Minister expressed grief over the demise of noted author and retired scientist of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Kodavatiganti Rohini Prasad. He recalled the services of Rohini Prasad in the field of atomic energy towards scientific literature.

The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to his family members.
