Hyderabad, September 21 INN: Forests and Environment Minister S Vijayarama Raju on Friday assured the State Legislative Assembly that the posts of Assistant Beat Officers would be filled-up in the next one year.
In his reply to a question raised by TRS MLA T Harish Rao and others during Question Hour, the minister said that as many as 38 posts of Assistant Beat Officers of Forest Department in certain Telangana districts have been lying vacant. He said the posts have fallen vacant after April 1, 2011, due to promotion from Assistant Beat Officers to Forest Beat Officers. However, he assured that the vacant posts would be filled up in the next one year.
